2nd gradeBuild Challenge! Maze Edition: My 2nd graders put this together. I’m also including a picture of the guidelines my students came up with together as a class. While building, the students made some adjustments to the maze and collaborated really well! Even when they had disagreements, they worked through it by talking it out. Proud of this class. Thanks for the challenge, Dojo!

2nd gradeMy class started the Dojo Island Build Challenge today! One group chose the food challenge (they are going to build a pizza) and the other chose the challenge to reach one end of the zone to the other without touching the ground. We worked together to split the build some in half so they would have their own areasl

KindergartenSo we started Princess Katie's Castle build challenge on Dojo Islands this week. I cleared it out for the weekend (in case the students wanted to do it at home). I helped by starting out a small, simple room - nothing fancy. I logged on this morning to this! 😍 It makes me happy that they are playing it at home and probably getting their siblings and/or parents to join in on the fun 😉 I added some beach chairs to help inspire more creativity! I also wanted to thank those who shared their pictures because I shared them with my class (Kinders) and that helped them get jump started on ideas. So, thank you again and please keep sharing those pictures!

4th gradeUsing all of these dojo challenges to finish the last week. I’ve been adding my own twist. First thing is I present the prompt, give them the handout and they self plan. I then use dojo group maker to put them in groups. They share their plans with each other, and come up with a solid idea.
